Stephen James Consulting continue to work with one of their established not-for-profit elderly care providers in the search for a Registered Home Manager (Clinical) for a large nursing and residential care home based in the Midlands. This is a senior leadership opportunity within a well-established service delivering high-quality nursing, residential, dementia, and respite care. The role requires a confident clinical leader with strong governance experience who can provide visible leadership, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive consistently high standards of care. Key Responsibilities: * Providing strong, visible leadership across all operational and clinical aspects of the home * Acting as the Registered Manager, holding full accountability for quality, compliance, and performance * Leading, developing, and supporting a multidisciplinary clinical and care team * Embedding a proactive, risk-aware approach to clinical governance and continuous improvement * Ensuring full compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements, including CQC * Leading on CQC inspection readiness and ongoing regulatory engagement * Creating and sustaining a positive, values-led culture focused on person-centred care To be considered for this role, you will need: * Active NMC PIN (RGN essential) * Around 3+ years’ experience as a Registered Home Manager * Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, clinical governance, and inspection processes * Proven experience managing large clinical and care teams * A confident, resilient, hands-on leadership style This is an excellent opportunity to join a values-led not-for-profit provider where quality of care, governance, and staff development are genuinely prioritised.
