Finishing Technician

Finishing Technician (Plating & Lacquer) Location: Birmingham Salary: £23,500 per annum Hours: * Monday–Thursday: 7:00am–3:30pm * Friday: 7:00am–12pm * 37 hours per week (30-minute lunch break) We are currently seeking a Finishing Technician for the plating and lacquer processes. This is a hands-on role supporting day-to-day production, new product development, and continuous improvement within the finishing department. The Role As a Finishing Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance across all finishing operations. Key Responsibilities * Maintain, and optimise finishing plant and chemical processes * Ensure quality standards are met while maintaining compliance with HSE and environmental regulations. * Support new product introduction. * Support production teams in agreed finishing methods. About You * Experience within plating, lacquer, or a similar finishing/manufacturing environment * Candidates with a strong background in chemistry, process engineering, or a related discipline will be considered and fully trained * Good understanding of process control, quality assurance, and compliance * A continuous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail What’s on Offer This is a technical role within a high-quality manufacturing environment, offering genuine development and progression opportunities for the right candidate
