Health and Safety Manager


EHS Manager – Dornan Reporting to: Regional Health & Safety Manager We're seeking an ambitious EHS Manager to help uphold Dornan's industry‑leading safety standards across our projects. You'll act as a visible safety leader on site, supporting teams to deliver work safely, compliantly and to the highest standard. As a Dornan ambassador, you'll embody our values of integrity, safety, dependability, pride and quality. The Role Monitor and drive compliance with Dornan's Health, Safety & Welfare policies Implement and maintain the Safety Management System on site Develop safety documentation with Site Managers, Agents and Forepersons Lead, manage and mentor a team of Safety Advisors Oversee the safety of 500+ site personnel Key Responsibilities Carry out regular site audits, inspections and safety reviews Report findings to site management and support close‑out of actions Ensure all employees and contractors receive site safety inductions Review and manage subcontractor safety documentation Support RAMS development for high‑risk activities Oversee statutory inspections, plant and equipment records Lead incident and accident investigations Manage toolbox talks, attendance records and emergency plans Advise on PPE, first aid and training requirements Prepare safety files for project handover Provide regular safety reports to Head Office About You Strong ability to prioritise and manage workload Accountable, proactive and committed to continuous improvement Confident communicator with site and senior management Qualification: Health & Safety Diploma (or higher) Why Dornan?
