Control and Instrumentation Engineer

Control & Instrumentation Engineer – Chester | Permanent | £50,000–£60,000 Role Overview: * Deliver C&I engineering on complex, regulated projects * Produce technical documentation, specifications, and logic simulations * Review subcontractor designs and attend factory acceptance tests * Analyse plant/process data to identify efficiency improvements * Support project proposals, schedules, cost forecasts, and maintain design standards * Travel to European suppliers and project sites as required Requirements: * Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline * Proven experience in control system design for process-based environments * Knowledge of PLC hardware, SCADA/HMI, instrumentation design, and compliance standards (UKCA, CE, UL) * Experience with subcontractors and multinational teams * Strong technical writing, equipment testing, and interpersonal skills * French or German language skills advantageous What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary and excellent benefits package
