Mechanical Site Engineer

Location: Nationwide (site-based) Salary: Competitive + overtime + call-out Job Type: Permanent, full-time A well-established UK market leader in the supply, design, manufacture, installation and servicing of pumping equipment is looking to add a Mechanical Site Technician to its growing external site team. This is a hands-on, field-based role working alongside an Electrical Site Engineer on installations, commissioning, servicing and breakdowns of pumping and associated equipment. The role offers variety, responsibility, and long-term stability within a busy, fast-paced environment. The Role * Attend nationwide installations and breakdowns as required * Service, repair and assemble pumps and pumping equipment * Participate in a standby rota covering weekends and bank holidays * Complete site reports after each visit and obtain customer sign-off * Maintain company procedures and contribute to continuous improvement * Act as a professional ambassador on customer sites * Ensure company vehicle, tools and van stock are maintained * Identify training and development needs * Work in line with Health & Safety policies and procedures * Be flexible to meet the needs of the business What We’re Looking For Essential * Mechanical qualification * Ability to work flexibly and manage your own workload * Strong team player * Self-motivated with a practical, “can-do” approach Desirable (not essential) * Experience in a similar site-based or maintenance role * Pump industry experience * Confined space training * First Aid certification * CSCS / SSSTS * Industry knowledge What’s On Offer * Join a stable, growing company with a strong UK presence * Varied site-based work — no two days the same * Ongoing training and development * Supportive team culture * Competitive salary with overtime and call-out opportunities This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically minded individual looking for a long-term role with progression, variety, and real responsibility
