CAD Technician (Highway Design) £30,000 - £35,000 Birmingham, West Midlands We’re working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy in Birmingham who are looking to recruit a CAD Technician focused on Highway Design, to support the deliver of highway and transport infrastructure projects across both the public and private sectors. The Role          Assisting in the design and delivery of highway schemes to local and national standards Producing drawings, calculations, specifications and technical documentation Supporting senior engineers with project delivery, including programme and financial reporting Preparing reports, schedules and cost estimates Working collaboratively with internal teams, clients and external stakeholders Managing assigned tasks to agreed budgets and deadlines About You Previous experience in a highway or transport engineering environment Strong working knowledge of CAD software Familiarity with UK highway standards and design processes Organised, detail-focused and able to manage multiple tasks A team player with good communication skills What’s On Offer Salary circa £30,000 – £35,000 Casual dress code Company pension scheme Cycle to work scheme Private medical and dental insurance Free on-site parking Regular company events This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team and work closely with experienced engineers on a varied portfolio of schemes
