Job Title - CE&I Control System Design Engineer Contract Model - Inside IR35 Duration - 6 Months Working Model - Hybrid (3 days in Warrington) Hourly Rate - £50p/hour CE&I Control System Design Engineer Overview Be part of the design team, supporting the delivery and checking of Programmable Electronic System (PES) based control system designs and updates to meet functional and business needs. The CE&I Control System Design Engineer role will involve: Designing CE&I control systems for nuclear facilities Producing engineering documents such as drawings, specifications, and calculations Supporting projects from design through installation and commissioning Providing guidance to junior engineers The CE&I Control System Design Engineer will need to have the following attributes: Minimum HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline Minimum 3+ years experience with PES (Protection & Electrical Systems) Experience in CE&I or control system design, ideally in nuclear or other related industries Ability to produce clear engineering documentation, including schematics, specifications, and calculations Experience supporting commissioning teams and providing guidance to junior engineers Strong verbal and written communication skills The CE&I Control System Design Engineer will preferably have the following attributes: Minimum 5+ years experience with PES (Protection & Electrical Systems) If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up-to-date CV, along with your availability and hourly rate expectations
