Electromechanical Design Engineer Wanted - Immediate Start! Telford | £50-55K per year (DOE) Type: Permanent, Full Time Are you an experienced Design Engineer, with an Electrical & Mechanical bias? Regional Recruitment Services are recruiting on behalf of an industry-leading manufacturer for an Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer to join their R&D Development Team based in Telford. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a global organisation, contributing to the design and development of innovative electrical systems.  This role offers long-term career development, exposure to complex electro-mechanical systems, and the opportunity to work on projects from concept through to production within a professional engineering environment. Roles & Responsibilities Design and develop electro-mechanical systems and components from concept to production Produce 3D CAD models, drawings, and assemblies (Creo 7.0 or later preferred) Apply Design for Excellence (DfX) principles throughout the design process Design sheet metal and plastic components for enclosures and electrical systems Perform calculations for current carrying capacity, thermal dissipation, and short-circuit performance Ensure designs comply with IEC and British Standards (including IEC 61439 and IEC 62208) Collaborate with global R&D, manufacturing, and project teams Requirements Experience in electro-mechanical or electrical design engineering Strong understanding of DfX methodologies Experience with system integration and device design Knowledge of sheet metal and plastic component design Understanding of thermal dissipation and short-circuit ratings Knowledge of IEC and British Standards Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Creo preferred) What’s on Offer Competitive salary package (dependent on experience) Early Friday finish Potential hybrid working Excellent development and progression opportunities within a global organisation Apply to this Electro-Mechanical Design Engineer role through this advert.
