Industrial Night Shift Supervisor


As the Industrial Night Shift Supervisor you will be responsible for managing, planning, and continuously improving the night shift cleaning function. Client Details The company is a well-established processing operation within the industrial and manufacturing industry. It is recognised for its commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement in its field. Description Oversee and maintain the site cleaning planning system to ensure the achievement of operational standards and safety standards are consistently achieved. Ensure dynamic risk assessments (RA), ROPs/RAOPs, and permits are completed, understood, and followed. Ensure environmental controls are adhered to, including dust suppression, spill response, waste segregation, and EMS requirements. Ensure cleaning schedules align with production requirements and minimise downtime Define clear expectations and standards for night shift cleaning activities. Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to assist with other roles and tasks when required to support operational needs. Lead, coach, and develop the Night Shift Cleaning Team to optimise task effectiveness and performance. Manage performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development plans. Lead by example through high standards of communication, behaviour, safety awareness, and work quality. Capable of managing multiple tasks and roles while leading the team to complete work safely and efficiently. Challenge unsafe or inefficient practices constructively. Assist and lead general labouring duties on site when required, including 5S, housekeeping, and site cleanliness. Working hours Monday - Thursday 9.30pm - 6.30am Friday 9.30pm - 3.30am Profile You will be an experienced Night Shift Supervisor. Ideally with manufacturing experience along with: Excellent leadership and team management skills Analytical and improvement-focused mindset Good working knowledge of health & safety systems RAOPs, and EMS requirements Knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial setting. Ability to analyse data and implement improvements effectively. Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
