Secondary Teaching Assistant - Supply Location: Bradford Pay: £90-£100 per day Contract Type: Supply (Short-Term & Long-Term Opportunities) About the Role Academics are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in secondary schools across Bradford. This role involves supporting teachers in the classroom, assisting students with their learning, and helping maintain a positive and productive learning environment. Opportunities are available for both short-term and long-term placements. Key Responsibilities Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons Assist students with learning activities and tasks Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive environment Support students with additional needs, where required Prepare resources and classroom materials Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff Requirements Experience working in a school setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with students across different age groups Reliable, adaptable, and proactive Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) What We Offer Daily pay rate of £90-£100 Flexible working - full-time or part-time supply Opportunities in both short-term and long-term placements Support from experienced and dedicated consultants Access to a wide range of schools across Bradford Why Work with Academics?
