Project Manager – Retail Fit-Out (Shopfitting) Location: London (office-based) with nationwide UK travel Reporting to: Delivery Director About the Company An established and highly regarded retail fit-out contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver fast-track shopfitting projects for premium retail brands across the UK. Known for quality, pace, and consistency, the business offers a strong project pipeline and long-term stability. This is a hands-on, client-facing role with full responsibility for projects from initial survey through to handover and commercial close-out.    ABOUT THE ROLE You will take full ownership of retail fit-out projects, managing all aspects of delivery to ensure programmes, budgets, and quality standards are met. Key responsibilities include: Managing retail fit-out projects from pre-construction through to completion Acting as the main point of contact for clients during delivery Leading design coordination, subcontractor procurement, and programme planning Maintaining full control of site safety, quality, programme, and cost Managing variations, risk, and overall commercial performance Coordinating site teams and subcontractors to achieve snag-free delivery Overseeing handover, O&M manuals, as-built drawings, and defects management Personal Attributes: Strong ownership mindset Calm and effective under pressure Highly organised with strong attention to detail Commercially aware and quality-driven REQUIREMENTS Proven experience as a Project Manager within retail fit-out / shopfitting Strong technical and trade knowledge Experience delivering fast-track, multi-site retail projects Confident and professional client-facing communication skills Strong commercial awareness and programme control     REWARDS AND BENEFITS Competitive salary Consistent and secure project pipeline Exposure to premium retail brands All accommodation paid All travel expenses covered
