Assistant Project Manager – Multi-Sector Fit Out Contractor Project Values: £500k – £5m Future Build Recruitment are recruiting an Assistant Project Manager to work for a growing, medium-sized fit out and refurbishment main contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across a range of sectors including commercial, industrial, retail, education, healthcare and sports. Due to continued workload and a high level of repeat business, they are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of projects typically valued between £500k and £5m. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in project management within a supportive, hands-on business that is well known for: * Low staff turnover and a supportive, stable working environment * High levels of repeat business with long-standing clients * Consistently delivering projects to a high-quality standard * Embracing modern construction methods and new technology * Placing genuine importance on health & safety * Maintaining a stable supply chain with close relationships and prompt payment The Role Working closely with a Senior Project Manager and the wider delivery team, you will be involved in projects from pre-construction through to handover. Responsibilities will include: * Assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of fit out projects on site * Supporting programme management, progress reporting and project documentation * Assisting with subcontractor procurement, coordination and performance monitoring * Supporting cost control, variations and commercial reporting * Attending site meetings and liaising with clients, consultants and the supply chain * Supporting quality control, health & safety and compliance processes * Assisting with snagging, handover and project close-out About You We’re looking for someone motivated, organised and keen to progress.
