Job Title: Mechanical Shift Engineer – Continental Location: Liverpool Street, commercial Sector: Building Services Salary: £48,000 - £50,000 Alice Rose Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Shift Engineer to join a highly reputable building services provider on a commercial site contract based in Liverpool Street. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mechanical engineer to work on a well-recognised, technically challenging contract with a market-leading facilities management provider. Working Hours * Continental shift pattern (days and nights) * 07:00 – 19:00 / 19:00 – 07:00 Mechanical Shift Engineer Benefits * Basic salary of up to £50,000 * 20 days annual leave * Pension package * Regular overtime available * Ongoing training and technical development such as AP training * Clear progression opportunities within the contract and wider business Mechanical Shift Engineer Key Responsibilities * Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within a commercial environment * Commercial PPM Reactive maintenance under contractual SLA * FCU's, AHU’s * Pressurisation units * Cooling towers * Must have a strong background in pumps and seal repairs * BMS Head End Controls * HVAC plant * More specifically experience on CHP, Absorption chillers, Vacuum waste / toilets, Sprinkler systems, Generators, Chilled beams would be beneficial. Shift Leader Requirements * Mechanically qualified (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ, or equivalent) * Previous experience working within a critical site or large environment (desirable) * Apprentice-trained (preferred) * Proven background in building services or facilities maintenance * Strong client-facing skills with excellent communication ability
