Job Title: Shift Leader – Continental Location: Liverpool Street, commercial Sector: Building Services Salary: £51,500 Alice Rose Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Electrical Shift Leader to join a highly reputable building services provider on a commercial site contract based in Liverpool Street. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced shift leader or lead engineer to work on a well-recognised, technically challenging contract with a market-leading facilities management provider. Working Hours * Continental shift pattern (days and nights) * 07:00 – 19:00 / 19:00 – 07:00 Shift Leader Benefits * Basic salary of up to £51,500 per annum * 20 days annual leave * Pension package * Regular overtime available * Ongoing training and technical development such as AP training * Clear progression opportunities within the contract and wider business Shift Leader Key Responsibilities * Lead a shift team of 2 when on shift * Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance within a critical environment * Electrical fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs on building services systems * Working on single-phase and three-phase power systems * Operation and maintenance of UPS systems, generators, and BMS * Servicing and maintenance of CRAC units, AHUs, FCUs, and VAV/VRF systems * Maintenance of motors, pumps, and associated plant equipment Shift Leader Requirements * Electrically qualified (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ, or equivalent) * Previous experience working within a critical site or large environment (desirable) * Apprentice-trained (preferred) * Proven background in building services or facilities maintenance * Strong client-facing skills with excellent communication ability
