Primary Teaching Assistant - Derbyshire & Surrounding Areas 📢 We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary Teaching Assistants (TAs) to join schools across Derbyshire, with day-to-day, part-time, and full-time opportunities available. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting children's learning, wellbeing, and development in a busy school environment. ✨ The Role: As a Primary TA, you will support teachers in delivering high-quality education and help ensure the smooth running of the classroom. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include: Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons Supporting individual pupils or small groups with learning tasks Supervising children during classroom activities, breaks, and lunch Promoting positive behaviour and fostering a respectful, inclusive classroom environment Supporting children with additional learning needs or SEN, where appropriate Preparing classroom resources and supporting learning activities Assisting with the supervision of educational trips and events Maintaining safeguarding standards and reporting any concerns appropriately ✅ Requirements: Relevant, recent experience working in a school or childcare setting (essential) Must be 18+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Calm, patient, and adaptable, with a genuine passion for supporting children's development DBS Enhanced clearance (or willingness to apply) 📍 Location: Schools across Derbyshire, including Swadlincote, Burton-on-Trent, and surrounding areas ⏰ Hours: Day-to-day supply, part-time, and full-time positions available - shifts may vary depending on school needs (typically 7:00am - 6:00pm) 💼 Benefits: Flexible working options to suit your availability Opportunity to gain experience across different schools and year groups Supportive working environment Competitive rates 📧 Interested?
