Graduate Civil Engineer – Glasgow Salary: Competitive | Permanent | Glasgow We are recruiting for a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy in Glasgow, looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer with around 2 years’ experience to join their team and contribute to a variety of exciting infrastructure, transport, and development projects. The Role As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, supporting the delivery of high-quality civil engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include: * Assisting with design and technical calculations for civil engineering projects * Preparing CAD drawings, reports, and design documentation * Supporting project teams in site visits, surveys, and inspections * Contributing to project management tasks, including timelines, budgets, and client liaison * Learning and developing under the guidance of senior engineers Knowledge & Skills * Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline * Around 2 years’ experience in civil/structural engineering consultancy * Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other engineering software * Good understanding of UK design standards and codes * Strong technical report writing and communication skills * Able to work independently and collaboratively Benefits * Competitive salary and benefits package * Hybrid/flexible working options * Mentoring and structured career development * Exposure to varied and high-profile projects across Glasgow and Scotland * Collaborative and supportive team environment
