Disrepair Surveyor

Disrepair Surveyor (Temp to Perm) We’re seeking an experienced Disrepair Surveyor to support a values-driven organisation focused on safe, compliant homes and positive outcomes for residents. This is a hands-on, temp-to-perm role for a social housing surveyor who can confidently manage legal disrepair cases end to end, working closely with residents, solicitors, expert witnesses, and contractors. Key responsibilities Manage legal disrepair cases from inspection through to completion Inspect properties, identify defects, and agree scopes of work Produce clear technical reports, schedules, specifications, and costings Liaise with legal teams, residents, and external partners Monitor contractors to ensure quality, compliance, and deadlines About you Proven experience in social housing surveying (legal disrepair preferred) Confident managing risk and working with legal teams Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Proactive, solutions-focused, and technically strong
