Commissioning Manager

The Opportunity An established engineering business is looking to appoint a Commissioning Manager to oversee commissioning works for a significant facility upgrade. You’ll take a leading role in bringing new mechanical, process, and infrastructure assets into full operational service. We would also welcome applications from these industries Food manufacturing, chemical processing, oil & gas, petrochemicals, and industrial engineering. This role would suit candidates working in these roles Commissioning Engineer, Mechanical Commissioning Lead, Process Commissioning Lead, Site Manager, Start?Up Manager, Mechanical Engineer, Process Engineer, Project Engineer, Construction Manager, or Technical Manager. Your duties and responsibilities will be Leading mechanical and process commissioning activities across multiple systems on a major industrial extension project. Collaborating closely with engineering, construction, and operational teams to ensure safe and timely start-up. Creating and managing detailed commissioning procedures, schedules, and documentation. Overseeing testing, verification, and system handover processes. Managing on?site coordination, troubleshooting, and progress reporting throughout the commissioning phase.You will have the following qualifications and experience Background in mechanical or process commissioning within industrial, chemical, food, or refinery environments. Strong track record managing contractors and multidisciplinary interfaces on complex projects. Experience working on large?scale, site?based engineering developments. Proven ability to deliver robust, compliant, and safe commissioning outcomes.
