Senior Support Worker – Chevington, Suffolk £27,478 - £29,605 Hours: 38 hrs/week / Permanent /will include sleep in duties. Buttons Recruitment (agency) are recruiting on behalf of our client The job (the real version) You’ll be a hands-on Senior Support Worker in a children’s home, supporting young people who’ve had a tough start and need consistency, patience, and someone who won’t give up on them. No one said it was an easy job, if you can say yes to the below this is for you. * Be the senior on shift – guiding staff and keeping things running smoothly * Have a can do attitude * Be a car driver with a full license - (must have) * Support young people day-to-day and help build trust (the big stuff) * Line manage support workers * Handle challenging moments with resilience and emotional intelligence * Work closely with a tight team and therapeutic services This is for those experienced in working within a children’s home, so the young people get focused, dedicated support — and you get the chance to make a real impact. The essentials * Full UK manual driving licence * Hold NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare * Team player, problem solver, patient human * Minimum 5 sleep-ins per month * Great knowledge of Ofsted * Have a minimum of 1 years experience in the same or similar role.
