Operations Manager – Cladding Remediation & Retrofit 📍 Bristol (Regional travel required) 💼 Permanent | 💷 Competitive Salary + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a new accelerated cladding remediation programme, overseeing major capital and retrofit works across the Central and Southern region. This is a senior leadership opportunity to manage multiple high-value projects, lead project teams and supply chain partners, and ensure delivery to the highest standards of safety, quality, compliance, budget, and programme. About the Company Our client specialises in capital and retrofit programmes within the social housing sector, with a strong reputation for delivering complex works to high-rise and high-risk buildings. Current projects include: * £20m retrofit programme (recladding & roofing) across 4 high-rise blocks in Bristol * £6m retrofit works to 400 properties in West Kent including PV, CWI, EWI, ASHPs, roofing replacements, and gas upgrades You will be Bristol-based, with travel across regional sites as required. The Role As Operations Manager, you will provide strategic leadership across multiple projects, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships. Key responsibilities include: * Leading project teams and managing supply chain performance * Driving health, safety, and environmental excellence * Managing programme delivery, budgets, and commercial risk * Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders * Supporting sustainability objectives and retrofit compliance (PAS2035) * Ensuring quality standards and zero defects at handover * Recruiting, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams * Managing complaints, defects, and continuous improvement processes What We’re Looking For Essential: * Experience delivering capital works and large-scale projects via subcontract/supply chain models * Proven track record managing multiple high-rise / high-risk building projects * Experience with façade systems, roofing, fire remediation, structural works, concrete repairs, and refurbishment * End-to-end project management (pre-construction through delivery) * Retrofit project experience to PAS2035 or similar * Full UK driving licence Desirable: * SMSTS * Scaffold inspection certification * CSCS card (role appropriate) * First Aid at Work 📩 Interested?
