Plate/Bar Saw Operator Location: Solihull Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 Pay Rate: £16.41–£16.92 per hour Start:Immediate start following a successful interview We are currently recruiting for a skilled Plate and Bar Saw Operator to join a busy and well-established operation in Solihull. This is a genuine temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate. Experience operating the listed machinery is essential. Applicants that do not possess this experience will not be considered for this role. Key Responsibilities: Operating bar saw and plate saw machinery safely and efficiently Assisting with general warehouse duties as required Ensuring materials are cut accurately to specification Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Following all health & safety procedures at all timesEssential Requirements: Proven experience operating bar saw and plate saw machinery Ability to work accurately and to deadlines Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic Health and safety conscious time keeping and a positive attitudeDesirable (but not essential): Experience using a water jet cutting machine Previous experience within the Aerospace industry CounterBalance/Reach Forklift experienceWhat’s on Offer: Competitive pay rate of £16.41–£16.92 per hour Stable day shifts with no weekends Immediate start available Opportunity for a permanent position after a successful temporary period Training opportunities on multiple other machines to support skill development and progression Friendly working environmentIf you have the required experience and are looking for a long-term role with opportunities to develop your skills, we would love to hear from you.
