Buyer - Eastleigh - Full time hours working in the office 4 days a week and 1 day from home £30,000-£31,000 + bonus We are looking for a highly organised and detail‑driven Buyer to join a growing purchasing team within a global thriving organisation. In this role, you'll take ownership of planning and buying products, managing supplier orders, keeping inventory on track, and securing competitive pricing. You'll work closely with other Buyers, Product Managers, and the sales team to keep operations running smoothly and ensure great service to suppliers and customers. Buyer duties include: Managing purchasing for assigned product lines Monitoring orders from placement to delivery Ensuring inventory levels are accurate and well‑maintained Negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers Updating and maintaining purchasing and pricing data in internal systems Checking and acknowledging supplier order confirmations Expediting any delayed orders to keep stock flowing Providing admin support to sales for customer accountsExperience and skills required Strong data entry skills with excellent accuracy Experience using ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, AS400, PeopleSoft or similar) Background in manufacturing or working with Bills of Materials (preferred) Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly Solid numerical skills and the ability to follow written or verbal instructionsPlease be aware this advert will remain open until the vacancy has been filled.
