You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical systems across our busy manufacturing facility. What’s in it for you? Salary: Circa £45,000–£48,000 plus premium overtime Shift Pattern: Days only – benefit from a shorter, compressed working week Overtime: Paid at enhanced rates Holiday: Generous annual leave allowance Additional Benefits: Company-funded workwear Company pension scheme Life assurance Free onsite parking The Role As an electrically biased engineer, your responsibilities will include: Planned and reactive electrical maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment Electrical fault-finding on motors, drives, control panels, sensors, and safety circuits Working with PLCs, inverters, and drive systems to diagnose and rectify faults Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve reliability Ensuring all work is completed in line with electrical safety standards and compliance Providing limited mechanical support where required, while remaining electrically focused What We’re Looking For Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 minimum) Apprentice trained or equivalent practical experience Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VSDs, and industrial control systems (advantageous) Background in manufacturing, heavy engineering, FMCG, or production environments Comfortable working independently on days-based maintenance activities Why Join Us?
