Slitter Machine Operator – Dayshift Accrington, Lancashire Full-Time Opportunities Available - Temporary to Permanent £13.06 per hour (rising to £13.32 per hour once fully trained) Due to an extremely busy workload, Aspired Talent is recruiting Slitter Machine Operators to join a well-established manufacturing business in Accrington. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role, with full training provided and overtime available once fully trained. The Role As a Slitter Machine Operator, your main responsibilities will include: Operating a Slitter/Spooler machine Packing products, including wrapping, weighing, and palletising Accurately recording production data using an in-house computer system Following work instructions and customer specifications Working to a priority list Meeting or exceeding performance standards for safety, waste, and quality Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment Additional Duties Carrying out any other tasks as directed by your Supervisor or Manager Actively participating in initiatives and improvement projects Understanding and following all procedures relevant to the role Key Skills & Requirements Essential: Previous machine experience (full training provided for the role) Ability to carry out regular manual handling with good manual dexterity Flexibility to work days/nights and weekends when required Numerate and literate Ability to work unsupervised Desirable: IT literacy Experience working in a busy factory or manufacturing environment Hours & Shifts 12-hour shifts Monday to Thursday Dayshift: 7:00am – 7:00pm Overtime available once fully trained
