SHW Advisor required for major Offshore Wind developer based in the United Kingdom. Responsibilities Act as the SHW (Safety, Health & Wellbeing) lead for offshore geotechnical and geophysical survey operations Support the delivery team to ensure work is carried out in line with SHE standards, company procedures, statutory obligations, and project goals Serve as a primary point of contact for onboard representatives on SHW matters Review pre-project documentation, contractor RAMS, and supporting information to ensure compliance with CDM Regulations and duty holder responsibilities Participate in and support vessel inspections, mobilisations, and crew change activities Attend and contribute to daily survey and coordination calls Support marine coordination activities from an SHW perspective Actively monitor offshore health and safety performance and collaborate with teams and contractors to drive continuous improvement Monitor contractor safety observation programmes and assist with trend analysis Support development and implementation of local SHE procedures and standards relevant to offshore operations and assets Prepare or review formal SHW reports including incident investigations, high-potential/near-hit reports, internal audit reports, and periodic SHW performance reports Lead or support incident and accident investigations and formally communicate lessons learned Develop and support HSE emergency drills with contractors and assist in implementing improvement actions Promote and actively foster a positive safety culture across vessels and project teams Provide management with required reports, updates, and SHW performance statistics Requirements Demonstrable experience as an Offshore HSE / SHW Advisor on marine, offshore wind, or subsea survey projects Strong knowledge of offshore geotechnical and geophysical survey operations Good understanding of CDM Regulations and duty holder responsibilities Experience reviewing RAMS and contractor safety documentation Proven track record in incident investigation and safety reporting Experience working with vessel operations, mobilisations, and marine coordination Ability to engage confidently with offshore crews, representatives, and contractors Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills Experience driving safety culture and behavioural safety initiatives Relevant HSE qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma or equivalent) Offshore certification as required (e.g., BOSIET/FOET, offshore medical, GWO desirable) Ability to work in a dynamic offshore project environment with multiple stakeholders
