Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Location: Paisely Salary: £41,500 Shift Pattern: Days We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business that is looking to strengthen its engineering team with an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. The Role As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving plant reliability through effective planned and reactive maintenance. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out mechanical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on production machinery Working on pumps, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics Supporting PPM schedules and responding to breakdowns efficiently Assisting with machinery installations and improvement projects Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards Working closely with electrical engineers and production teams The Ideal Candidate Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong mechanical fault-finding skills Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics Able to work independently and as part of a team Relevant mechanical qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / Apprenticeship) preferred What's On Offer Competitive basic salary with overtime available Company pension and benefits package Ongoing training and development Secure, long-term role within a reputable business If you're a mechanically biased maintenance engineer looking for your next move, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
