We are looking for a Reprographics Operator to join our Print Room team — a hands-on role for someone who takes genuine pride in quality, enjoys working at pace, and understands that the smallest detail can make the biggest difference. The opportunity This is a client-facing, high-trust role within one of Foster + Partners’ print rooms. You’ll support project teams across the practice with a wide range of print requirements — from everyday studio needs through to high-end presentation work and complex submissions. You’ll work with specialist print, finishing and binding equipment, helping produce beautiful output that reflects the brand and standard Foster + Partners is known for. The pace is fast, the expectations are high — and the satisfaction is real: you’ll be part of delivering the physical materials that represent world-class architecture on a global stage What you’ll be doing You’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality print and finishing services, including: * Producing large format colour prints using Smartstream software and HP Pagewide plotters * Printing high-end presentation boards and media using Onyx RIP software and flatbed printing * Running small format printing via toner-based press and HP Indigo equipment * Cutting / creasing media using a Zund digital cutting table * High-quality finishing: wiro binding, glue binding, laminating, foil sleeking, foil embossing * Guillotining using a Polar programmable guillotine * High-end book finishing (hardback covers, end papers, case making) * Creating premium custom presentation packaging (slip cases, clamshell boxes, magnetic flip tops etc.) * Supporting broader print-room operations as required, including overtime/weekend work when needed * Working to strict standards around Health & Safety, maintaining clean and safe working areas, and using PPE where required What we’re looking for This role suits someone who is practical, precise and proud of their work — someone who enjoys producing an exceptional finished product and can thrive in a high-performance environment. You’ll ideally bring: * Experience in a print room / reprographics environment, or strong transferable skills from high-quality production settings * Confidence running both large and small format print devices and related RIP/DFE workflows * A good understanding of finishing methods and presentation standards (binding, foiling, trimming, bookmaking etc.) * Working knowledge of Adobe software (particularly Acrobat and colour workflows) * Strong attention to detail and quality control — especially for client-facing presentation materials * Excellent communication and customer service skills — professional, calm and helpful under pressure * Strong organisation and time management; able to prioritise quickly when demand spikes * Discretion and maturity when handling sensitive or confidential materials * A proactive mindset: you take ownership, spot issues early, and continuously improve how things run Desirable: * Experience in similar roles within multi-site environments * Familiarity with print management systems Why Foster + Partners Because quality isn’t optional here — it’s the standard.
