Job Title: Lead Electrical Engineer Location: Lewisham (London) Salary: £49,000 per annum Working Hours: Monday to Friday – Days Only Are you an experienced and fully qualified Electrical Engineer looking to take on a lead role within a critical healthcare environment? Join a professional Facilities Management team supporting a private hospital in Lewisham, delivering high-quality electrical maintenance services. You’ll be part of a skilled engineering team, taking responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the hospital’s electrical infrastructure. Your duties will include: • Performing planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of M&E systems, with a strong focus on electrical systems, ensuring the continuous and safe operation of the hospital. • Acting as the Lead Electrical Engineer on site, overseeing electrical works and supporting other engineers when required. • Supporting mechanical maintenance checks and basic fault diagnosis. • Managing and troubleshooting complex technical issues within a critical healthcare environment. • Ensuring all works are carried out in line with statutory regulations, HTM guidance, and health & safety standards. • Working closely with engineering colleagues and contractors to ensure full compliance and operational excellence. Ideal Candidate: • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer within a commercial, healthcare, or similarly critical environment. • Fully qualified, holding recognised UK electrical qualifications, including: – NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or City & Guilds 2365 equivalent) – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) • Strong building services knowledge with a safety-first, detail-focused approach. • Ability to lead by example while working independently when required. • Committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and reliability.
