Your duties will include: • Performing planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of M&E systems, with a strong focus on electrical systems, ensuring the safe and continuous operation of the hospital. • Leading and supporting electrical maintenance activities across the site. • Supporting mechanical maintenance checks and basic fault diagnosis where required. • Managing and troubleshooting complex technical issues within a critical healthcare environment. • Ensuring all works comply with statutory regulations, HTM guidance, and health & safety standards. • Collaborating with engineering colleagues and contractors to maintain high standards of compliance and performance. Ideal Candidate: • Fully qualified Electrical Engineer with proven experience in a commercial or healthcare environment. • Recognised electrical qualifications, including: – NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or City & Guilds 2365 equivalent) – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) • Strong building services knowledge with a methodical and safety-focused approach. • Ability to lead by example while also working independently when required. • Committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and reliability.
