This is a critical senior leadership role, offering full ownership of the finance function within a contracts-led business undergoing a key phase of growth. The successful individual will be playing a key role in driving performance, control and commercial decision-making. What’s on Offer? * Bonus Structure * Hybrid Working * 28 Days Annual Leave (Including Bank Holidays) * Senior leadership role with real influence and autonomy * Opportunity to shape and strengthen the finance function What will you do as a Finance Director? * Leading the finance function and contributing as a key member of the senior leadership team * Owning budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling across a multi-project contracting environment * Providing detailed insight into job costing, WIP, margins and contract performance * Driving strong cash flow management, including debtor control and project-level cash forecasting * Overseeing statutory accounts, audit, tax and compliance * Developing financial controls, processes and systems fit for an SME within a growing group * Managing and developing a small finance team, remaining hands-on where required What do you need as a Finance Director? This role will suit a commercial finance leader with experience in: * Construction, contracting, engineering environment * SME businesses where finance is close to operations * Managing cash flow across multiple live projects with varying payment profiles * A fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) * Comfortable operating at board level while staying close to the detail Job ID: 10516
