SEN Teaching Assistant


Location: Luton, Bedfordshire  Job Role: Full-time, long-term opportunity, term-time only, until the end of the academic year Hours: 9:30am – 3:30pm Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN) Assist in delivering personalised learning programmes Support students with personal care requirements (including toileting and feeding) Promote independence and encourage positive behaviour Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure the best outcomes for each pupil Requirements Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in an educational, care, or support setting) Confidence and comfort in providing personal care A patient, compassionate, and resilient attitude when working with vulnerable students Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) Full-time availability, Monday to Friday, during term time Why Join Teaching Personnel?
