Site Engineer – Civil Engineering Location: North West Regonal Based Projects Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 + Company Vehicle & Excellent Package A well-established Tier 2 Regional Civil Engineering Contractor, operating successfully for over 50 years, is seeking a Site Engineer to join its North West team. The company delivers a strong pipeline of repeat business across public and private sector clients and is known for its collaborative, delivery-focused approach. Project Types Include: * Infrastructure and enabling works for commercial and public sector developments * Earthworks and ground remediation * Deep drainage, utilities, and attenuation systems * Reinforced concrete substructures and foundations * Access roads, external works, and public realm schemes * Section 278 and local authority highway works * Water, utilities, power, and renewables infrastructure projects * Civils packages delivered alongside building projects Role & Responsibilities: * Setting Out using Robtic Total Station & GPS * Supervise & mentor Junior Engineers * Read and interpret designs and drawings * Raise TQ's / RFI's etc. * Adhere to risk assessments and method statements * Updae quality assuarnce records * Produce As-Builts * Supervise subcontractors when needed Candidate Requirements: * Proven experience as a Site Engineer within Civil Engineering or Infrastructure projects * Knowledge of Earthworks, Drainage, RC foundations, Highways, Utilities/Water and general civils activities * CSCS card * SMSTS/SSSTS certification desirable * Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills * Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (desirable) What’s on Offer: * Salary of £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience * Company vehicle or allowance * Pension, holiday allowance, and comprehensive benefits package * Long-term career opportunity with a respected regional contractor * Exposure to a wide range of technically challenging civil engineering projects * Supportive working environment with clear progression opportunities
