Whether you're an experienced Cover Supervisor, a graduate looking to gain classroom experience, or someone considering a future career in teaching, we'd love to hear from you. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience while supporting pupils' learning and maintaining continuity in the absence of teaching staff. About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities may include: Supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff Delivering pre-set lesson plans and ensuring students remain on task Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies Supporting pupils with their work and answering basic questions Maintaining a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment Reporting back to teaching staff on lesson progress and behaviour Working across a range of subjects and year groups (KS3-KS4) You'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of school settings, helping you find the environment that best suits your experience and confidence level.
