Key Account & New Business Development Manager – Pharmaceutical Wholesaler We are recruiting for an experienced Key Account & New Business Development Manager to join a successful and growing pharmaceutical wholesaler operating within the shortline market. This is a commercially focused role combining new business development with key account management across the UK. The position carries national responsibility and will involve a blend of field-based sales and office-based telesales activity. Key Responsibilities * Drive new business growth within the UK pharmaceutical shortline market * Manage and develop existing key accounts for a pharmaceutical wholesaler * Achieve individual sales targets while contributing to overall team performance * Plan and implement effective sales strategies * Provide regular sales reports and market feedback, including pricing trends and opportunities * Work closely with internal teams to support sales and customer delivery Candidate Requirements * Minimum 5 years’ sales experience within pharmaceutical shortlines or pharmaceutical wholesale * Proven background in new business development and key account management * Confident, analytical, and commercially driven * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels * Target-focused with a proactive, results-led approach * Comfortable splitting time between office-based and field sales * Willing to travel nationally as required Salary & Package * £50,000–£55,000 per annum * Car allowance * National role with autonomy and clear commercial ownership This opportunity suits an experienced pharmaceutical wholesale sales professional looking to take ownership of a national shortline portfolio within a growing business
