Mechanical Construction Manager


Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who specializes in mission critical turnkey solutions. Employing over 750 professionals and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centre’s, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently looking for Mechanical Construction Manager to join them on a Data Centre project across Europe. You Will Be Responsible For: * Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all mechanical construction activities, ensuring alignment with project design, specifications, and program. * Manage mechanical subcontractors on-site, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient installation of systems such as HVAC, chilled water, and fuel systems. * Review mechanical drawings, technical submittals, and shop drawings to verify compliance with project requirements and coordinate resolution of design conflicts. * Monitor progress of mechanical works against the construction schedule, identifying and addressing delays, resource issues, or sequencing conflicts. * Coordinate closely with other discipline leads (electrical, structural, architectural) to ensure smooth integration of mechanical systems and prevent interface issues. * Conduct regular inspections of ongoing works to ensure quality, adherence to specifications, and readiness for commissioning activities. * Ensure all mechanical works comply with relevant safety regulations and environmental standards, promoting a culture of safety among subcontractors and operatives. * Prepare and maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, material usage, and site issues related to mechanical construction. You will need: * A trade and / or relevant third level qualification. * At least 5 - 10 years previous experience in Project Management, and a proven record of coordinating and managing large installation projects. * Experience dealing with IR issues and a knowledge of Health & Safety. * Good technical knowledge of both Electrical and Mechanical systems. * An EU passport may be required for this role.
