Sub Agent – Leading Civils Contractor – Sussex or Kent My client is a Leading Civil Engineering Company. They are presently looking to recruit, on a permanent basis, a Sub Agent to work on projects in the southeastern region. The company specialise in the following sectors; * Highways & Structures * Infrastructure & Public Realm * Ports, Rivers & Marne * MOD & Defence * Aviation * Water & Wastewater Initially, the successful individual will be assisting the existing site team who are in the process of delivering a large development infrastructure project. The successful candidate will have experience of delivering civil engineering projects. My client is open minded and would consider individuals with circa 4-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer, Section / Senior Engineer or someone already in the role. Sub Agent duties include assisting the Site Agent with the successful and timely delivery of the projects: * Advising the engineering team with solutions to technical challenges * Assist in production and integration of 3-week programmes * Manage designs from the inhouse and external designers * Support the project team with construction methodology and sequencing * Collaborate with the project team on resource, plant and material requirements * Training and mentoring the junior members of the engineering team * Demonstrate value engineering throughout the construction process * Managing RFI’s and Technical Queries Benefits: * Competitive basic salary * Company car or car allowance * Company Pension Scheme * Private Healthcare * 25 days holiday as standard to include all Bank Holidays * Training and progression * And much more The business will be able to keep you working on the South Coast, offering a variety of projects, security and package that reflects your contribution to the company.
