A well-established engineering business based in Hook is looking to add an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician to its growing production team. This role would suit someone with hands-on experience in electronics assembly who enjoys working with both electrical and mechanical components in a high-quality manufacturing environment. The Role As an Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will support the build and assembly of complex products, working to drawings, work instructions and quality standards. The role is predominantly hands-on, combining electrical assembly with light mechanical build and documentation support. Key Responsibilities Electro-mechanical assembly of components and sub-assemblies Soldering, crimping and cable assembly to IPC or equivalent standards Assembly of mechanical parts including housings, brackets and fixtures Working from engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and build instructions Updating and maintaining build documentation and records Identifying and reporting faults or build issues Supporting continuous improvement within the assembly process Ensuring all work meets quality, safety and production standards What We’re Looking For Proven experience in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly Confident soldering and crimping skills Good understanding of electronic components and systems Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Strong attention to detail and quality Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Proactive, reliable and organised approach to work Why Apply?
