Plumber / Multi Trader – Responsive Maintenance Location: Redhill, Surrey Salary: £35,000 per annum + van, fuel card & excellent benefits Contract: Permanent A leading charitable Housing Association is looking for a Plumber / Multi Trader to join their responsive maintenance team in Redhill, Surrey. About the Role: You will carry out responsive repairs and maintenance across a portfolio of domestic properties, ensuring residents receive a high-quality, efficient, and professional service. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out plumbing repairs including leaks, blockages, pipework, taps, toilets, and heating-related works (where applicable). * Complete a range of multi-trade tasks such as basic carpentry, patch plastering, tiling, flooring, and minor decorating. * Respond to day-to-day maintenance requests in occupied social housing properties. * Diagnose faults accurately and complete repairs in a “right first time” manner. * Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety, compliance standards, and organisational procedures. * Provide excellent customer service to residents, maintaining a professional and respectful approach at all times. * Use handheld devices to log jobs, materials, and updates. What we’re looking for: * NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing (or equivalent experience). * Proven experience in responsive maintenance within social housing, domestic properties, or similar environments. * Strong multi-trade skills alongside plumbing. * Ability to work independently and manage your own workload. * Full UK driving licence. * Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship.
