Press Operator

Job Title: Press Operator Pay Rate: £20.36 per hour (PAYE) Contract Duration: 9 months Location: Coventry Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and flexible Press Operator to support manufacturing operations in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a range of machinery, carrying out quality checks, and accurately recording production data while working to written instructions. Key Responsibilities Operate and work flexibly across multiple machines, including: Press Dimple Bending Brazing Cropping Cutting Straightener Extrusion Press Inspect, measure, and verify own work to ensure it meets required quality standards Follow simple written work instructions and procedures Accurately record production and quality data as required Maintain a safe and tidy working environment at all times Skills & Experience Required Proven ability to work across multiple manufacturing or press-based machines Strong attention to detail with the ability to self-inspect work Basic numeracy skills, including the ability to add and subtract whole numbers, decimals, and fractions Ability to read and understand simple written instructions Reliable, adaptable, and able to work independently when required
