SEN Learning & Inclusion Support (Ad-Hoc – Long-Term / Potential Permanent) 📍 Location: Kirkbymoorside 💰 Pay: £14–£15 per hour 📆 Start Date: ASAP 🕒 Hours: Full-time / Part-time (ad-hoc) 📄 Contract: Ad-hoc with long-term to permanent potential We are recruiting a SEN Learning & Inclusion Support professional to work in a specialist setting in Kirkbymoorside. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children or adults with SEN, helping them access learning, build confidence, and thrive in a structured and inclusive environment. A full UK driving licence is required to travel to this site. Responsibilities * Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN needs * Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and completing learning activities * Support behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies * Encourage independence, confidence, and social development * Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff * Monitor, record, and provide feedback on pupil progress and wellbeing * Support inclusion across classrooms and wider school activities Requirements / Preferable Skills * Experience working with children or adults with SEN needs * Team Teach and Manual Handling training preferred * Full UK driving licence essential * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Patient, adaptable, and supportive approach * Ability to follow structured behaviour management strategies and adapt to individual pupil needs What We Offer * Competitive hourly pay * Weekly pay * Flexible ad-hoc hours with potential for long-term or permanent placement * CPD and professional development opportunities * Supportive and inclusive working environment * Referral and loyalty bonus schemes * Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in pupils’ lives
