Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer. Wednesbury, West Midlands. FMCG Manufacturing Business £47,400 + overtime 1.5x (Mon-Fri) / 2x (Sat/Sun) + Pension (7%) + 33 days holiday. 4 Shift Rotation (Monday – Friday) / 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am, 7am-3pm. This is an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a successful, progressive FMCG manufacturing business who have a long-standing presence in Wednesbury. This role supports manufacturing through the provision of Maintenance Engineering activities across all automated production machinery on site. Working within this close-knit engineering team, you will play an integral role in the upkeep of modern fast paced automated machinery. Role Description. * Planned and reactive maintenance engineering across an array of industrial, automated machinery. * Mechanical & Electrical fault finding and repair activities. * Stripping down, servicing, repairing and installing new machinery when required. * PLC Fault finding – Siemens S7-300. * Conducting all work in a H&S conscious fashion. * Working within a team of skilled maintenance engineers. * Reporting into the Lead Engineer. Skills and Qualifications. * Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineering experience – mechanical or electrically biased. * Formal Mechanical and / or Electrical Qualifications – Level 3+. * Strong fault-finding capability. * Experience of working within a manufacturing environment or other industrial context. * Ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated maintenance engineering team.
