Role: Wiring Technician Type: Permanent Package: £35,000 per annum Hours: Monday–Thursday 7:00am–5:00pm Location: Tewkesbury I’m supporting an established engineering and technology business that, due to continued growth across its manufacturing operations, is looking to appoint an experienced Wiring Technician. This is a hands-on production role within a high-quality engineering environment, supporting the build and assembly of complex electrical and electronic systems. Wiring Technician Job Description Wire and assemble control panels and electronic equipment to detailed specifications. Build wiring looms and harnesses from schematics, drawings, and wiring schedules. Install cables, connectors, and components with a strong focus on quality and precision. Carry out inspection, testing, and fault-finding on completed assemblies. Work collaboratively to meet production, safety, and quality standards. Wiring Technician Experience/Skills/Qualifications Proven experience building wiring harnesses and looms in a manufacturing environment. Experience assembling and wiring electronic equipment or control panels. Ability to accurately interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of connector types, cables, and electrical components. Understanding of wiring standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620 or equivalent.
