Executive Assistant to the Managing Director Location: Malvern Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum Sector: Construction Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking a highly capable, proactive Executive Assistant to provide first-class administrative and business support to the Managing Director of a forward-thinking construction company. This is a pivotal role, offering genuine career progression and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, contributing directly to the strategic direction and success of the business. You will act as a trusted partner to the Managing Director, anticipating needs, solving problems, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day and strategic activities. This role requires discretion, confidence, emotional intelligence, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Provide comprehensive executive and administrative support to the Managing Director * Act as a key point of contact and “gatekeeper”, ensuring effective communication across the business * Manage the Managing Director’s diary, appointments, travel arrangements, and meeting logistics * Prepare briefs, agendas, reports, presentations, and board-level documentation * Coordinate and support Board meetings, including minute taking and action tracking * Manage and prioritise the Managing Director’s email inbox * Support the development of business strategy through research, analysis, and project coordination * Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders on behalf of the Managing Director * Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion * Build strong working relationships across departments including HR, IT, SHEQ, and wider business support teams * Support and drive efficiency improvements in processes and ways of working * Undertake additional responsibilities as required to meet business needs What We’re Looking For You will be a confident, organised, and emotionally intelligent professional who thrives in a leadership-support role.
