Technical Surveyor - Height Safety - London


About the Client Our Client is a technical contractor delivering specialist assessments and engineering solutions across the UK. They are now seeking an experienced Technical Surveyor to support site-based surveys, reporting, and client liaison on wind-sensitive and complex structures, with a pathway for future growth into delivery and commercial roles. Roles/Responsibilities Support operational teams in planning and executing technical surveys Undertake condition inspection surveys of wind-sensitive structures Carry out site-based evaluations and prepare structured technical reports Assist with engineering project delivery, including calculations and supporting documentation Contribute to cost planning and tender support as experience grows Maintain project documentation, including RAMS (risk assessments and method statements) Produce and edit technical drawings using AutoCAD, Autodesk, or similar Liaise with clients and stakeholders on project progress and planning Travel to multiple UK sites with occasional overnight stays (expenses covered) Qualifications Essential: HNC or equivalent in engineering or related technical discipline Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical surveying, inspection, or engineering Competent in site-based technical work, including working at height Note: Applicants not meeting the above essential criteria will not be progressed.
