Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector – Day Shift (Manufacturing / Engineering) We’re currently looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a busy engineering/manufacturing business on a day shift. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who likes being out on the shop floor, keeping standards high, and getting involved in how things are done — not just paperwork. Shift: Day shift – 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday What you’ll be doing: * Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process, particularly around painting and finishing. * Completing visual inspections and checks at different stages, right through to final sign-off. * Making sure prep work, paint processes, and conditions are right to maintain quality. * Checking and recording inspection equipment and making sure everything is in calibration. * Inspecting incoming materials before they go into production. * Keeping quality paperwork and records up to date and accurate. * Working closely with production and engineering teams to resolve issues quickly. * Looking for ways to improve processes and overall quality. What we’re looking for: * Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment. * A good understanding of quality systems and standards (ISO experience is important). * BGAS / NACE qualification, or solid time-served experience in a similar role. * A good eye for detail and a practical, common-sense approach. * Comfortable speaking to people on the shop floor and working as part of a team.
