Senior Project Manager – Groundworks & Civils Location: Reading Immediate Start | Industry-Leading Contractor An industry-leading contractor is delivering a major groundworks and civils scheme in Reading and is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the team with an immediate start. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for the successful delivery of complex civil engineering works from pre-construction through to completion. Key Responsibilities: * Overall management and delivery of large-scale groundworks and civils packages * Programme planning, sequencing and progress monitoring * Full commercial responsibility including budgets, valuations, variations and cost control * Ensuring high standards of health & safety, quality and environmental compliance * Leading site teams, subcontractors and maintaining strong client relationships * Driving performance to meet programme and commercial targets Requirements: * Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager on groundworks and/or civils projects * Strong background in programming/planning, commercial management, quality and safety * Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills * CSCS Black Card or NVQ Level 6 or 7 (essential) * Available to start immediately or at short notice What’s on Offer: * Long-term opportunity on a major scheme in Reading * Work with a market-leading contractor * Competitive salary and package, dependent on experience Apply now with your CV to be considered for an immediate interview
