Civils Setting Out Engineer – Rail Long term contract Suffolk | Site Based £350 - £450 Per day DOE Start ASAP We’re looking for an experienced Civils Setting Out Engineer to support ongoing rail, and lineside civils works on a site-based contract near Sizewell. This role suits someone local to the area who can commute daily, as it’s not set up for lodging away. Works Include: * Level Crossing installations * UTXs & URXs * Lineside civils: Signal bases, LOCs, Troughing Key Duties * Accurate setting out for civils and rail infrastructure works * Interpreting and working from drawings, specifications, and method statements * Ensuring works are delivered in line with design and quality standards * Carrying out site surveys, measurements, and as-built records * Liaising closely with site managers, supervisors, and subcontractors * Supporting temporary works and ensuring compliance with site procedures * Maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards on site Requirements * Proven rail civils setting out experience * PTS (essential) * CSCS * Confident using total station / GPS equipment * Able to work independently on site * Based within commuting distance of Suffolk For more information, please reach out to Amy Naden at Morson Vital today! * a m y . n a d e n * (phone number removed) - 3 0 6 - 7 3 7
