Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major highways infrastructure scheme. This is a key role within a busy delivery team, responsible for managing the project from planning through to completion while ensuring safety, quality, programme, and budget targets are met. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the end-to-end delivery of a highways scheme, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget * Coordinate contractors, designers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery * Oversee programme planning, cost control, and risk management * Ensure compliance with relevant highways standards, specifications, and health & safety regulations * Chair progress meetings and provide regular reports to senior management and clients * Manage change control, forecasting, and commercial performance * Liaise with local authorities, utilities, and other third parties as required Requirements: * Proven experience as a Project Manager on highways or civil engineering schemes * Strong knowledge of highways construction, including earthworks, drainage, surfacing, and structures (as applicable) * Experience managing NEC contracts (desirable) * Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a live environment * SMSTS, CSCS (and relevant professional qualifications) preferred * Full UK driving licence If you are a Project Manager with highways experience looking for your next challenge, please apply your CV and one of our team will get in touch
