SC Cleared Network Engineer

Job Title: SC Cleared Network Engineer Location: Farnborough 2-3 days per week Duration: 6 months with possible extension Rate: Up to £660.00 per day via an approved umbrella company Must be willing and eligible to go through the SC Clearance process Our client, a reputable organisation supporting MOD and defence projects, is hiring for a skilled Network Engineer with active SC clearance. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical networks, ensuring secure data transfer and supporting multiple projects within a structured IT environment. What you'll be doing: Investigating and resolving technical issues across existing networks and systems Supporting multiple projects to deliver timely technical outputs Implementing and configuring new systems and solutions Assisting with system implementations and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives Sharing knowledge, developing processes, and maintaining high standards of serviceWhat you'll bring: Hands-on experience in networking, IT, and communications Support experience with Juniper SRX networks, including cyber patches and issue investigation (VPNs, VLANs, ESXi environment) Knowledge of certificate-based VPNs is advantageous Understanding of Microsoft, Windows, Linux, Juniper, or coding environments is beneficial Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and provide practical solutions Professionalism and experience working within a structured IT environmentEssential qualifications: Degree in engineering or equivalent IT-related experience This role offers a fantastic chance to contribute to vital projects supporting national security.
