Management Accountant

Management Accountant Needham Market, Suffolk (Site-based, 5 days per week) £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE) Full UK driving licence essential to get to site location. We are working with a well-established business within the construction industry, based near Needham Market, who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant into a newly created role. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this position will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, analysis, and commercial decision-making across the business. Due to the remote, site-based location, candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to attend site five days per week. Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations Contract and project performance analysis, including standard vs actual cost and margin reviews Quarter-end reporting and schedules for senior finance review CIS processing and monthly returns Cashflow reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and end-of-month reviews Supporting audits, ERP/system improvements, and ad-hoc finance requirementsAbout You Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA / CIMA) Previous experience in a management accounting role, ideally within construction or a project-based environment Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a site-based role and collaborating with operational teamsIf this role sounds like a good fit, please apply today.
